The Consortium of Tanzania University and Research Libraries (COTUL) is a fully-fledged association registered in November 2017 with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Registration Number S.A. 21148.
COTUL's primary goal is to facilitate availability and access to research resources nationwide, particularly the joint acquisition of electronic resources (e-journals and e-books) to support teaching, learning, and research. COTUL also provides capacity building and training on marketing and promotion of e-resources, information literacy skills, and customer care.
COTUL is looking for a volunteer with a strong understanding of ICT and experience with general office tasks, bookkeeping practices, public relations, and the ability to create and maintain office records, prepare accurate reports, and publicize the organization through emerging technologies.
Diploma in Information Communication Technology, Business Management, Information Studies, or related fields. Expertise in graphic design, public relations, and accountancy are added advantages.
Work Station: COTUL office at the Tanzania Commission for Science and Technology (COSTECH) building, Kijitonyama, Dar es Salaam.
Remuneration: A reasonable package will be offered to the right applicant.
